Positives: Coeur d’Alene’s food scene is dynamic thanks in large part to Crafted. Located on Cd’A’s hoppin’ main street — Sherman Avenue — it’s a short walk down crowded sidewalks from the beach side to Crafted’s table side.
Their menu is downright inexpensive, with many plates clocking in around $13. But don’t mistake cheap food for poor food quality because Crafted’s plates are among the best in all the metro. The cover photo is Crafted’s version of chicken and waffles, what they call “Rockefella Ya’ll.” With two fried chicken thighs, bacon, waffles, a perfectly cooked egg atop the stack, whipped butter and some of the most amazing huckleberry syrup you’ll ever have, I’m afraid the South ain’t got nothin’ on this dish.
Crafted’s ambiance is perfectly hip, with large roll-up doors and easy access tables inside coupled with patio and sidewalk seating outside.
Finally, the beer menu is healthy, with over 50 quality selections. If you’re in the mood for a craft cocktail, Crafted can do that, too.
Negatives: Crafted has no negatives. They execute to perfection.
Recommendation: Crafted is a marquee Coeur d’Alene restaurant destination. Cheap yet excellent food. Crafted is one of the handful of metro Spokane restaurants that define our food scene.
