Positives: The Grande Terrace Bar is one of the best places in the metro to get a drink on a summer’s evening. It has a sprawling layout of classic outdoor patio furniture; the view from the second story captures most of downtown; and guests both from Spokane and visiting our fine city gravitate toward the venue. Those with money enjoy The Grande Terrace. With an upscale feel, The Grande Terrace bartenders can mix you a fine cocktail.
Negatives: The food menu is sparse and predictable. A hummus plate. A little pork appetizer. Chips. Although ownership has clearly made a conscious decision to keep the food options simple to serve and to a minimum, the lack of creativity is easy to criticize.
Recommendation: The Grande Terrace Bar is the place to be seen on a summer’s evening in Spokane but don’t go there hungry.
